YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!
Okay, so, yes, there has been sadness. Mostly sadness because of how hard this has been/will be for my 7 year old. BUT, even though I really sincerely do love my STBX, tonight’s his first night in his own place and I AM FUCKIN’ PSYCHED! God, I feel like 160 (I have no idea) pounds has been lifted off of me. I can breathe! I’m motivated to do all sorts of stuff I’ve felt too smothered to do until now.
The house is a disaster, but I’ll get it in order soon enough. I can’t tweet about being glad because of the whole he’s-on-twitter thing. But I feel like I’ve been let out of prison.
That said, it’s not like he was ever a bad guy. He was too good a guy, probably, was the major problem. But, good lord, this divorce was the right thing for all of us.
